I have an inspiration board filled with historical costumes and wonderful versions of attire with poker dots. I designed this top from a photo taken in 1910 of a lady in a sheer net lace blouse. I have selected a mesh with diminutive dots which are inherently feminine and conjure up images of a bygone era. I have attached an fine gruipuire trim to the neckline to complete the look.
The mesh is nylon mixed with spandex giving you a silky feel against the skin. The stretch in the fabric allows for greater movement. This top is trans-seasonal, extremely versatile and can be styled for various occasions. The top can be worn with a singlet over it or a simple bra underneath, the possibilities are endless. It’s the ultimate top for layering under dresses and never goes out of fashion.
I have designed and created each garment using traditional sewing techniques.
